We
have rescheduled for May 14-16, 2022
for #3 or is it #2?
Saturday May 15 is the primary day
of this 3 day event. Friday
afternoon through Sunday noon'ish
are optional if you wish to stay
overnight or participate for
additional social time and/or
hands-on training for an extra day
or 2.
The
draft agenda for the 3 days will be
out around April.
The 2020
#2 event was canceled in March 2020
due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Even though the onsite event was
cancelled and the WA state Gambling
Commission shut down our initial
online fundraiser, PNWDigital's
members still gave $5,162 to
support Valley Camp during their
pandemic year (without the
expectation of tickets or prizes).
This was almost double our modest
goal of just slightly more that we
raised onsite in 2019.
PNWDigital did give away an Anytone
578 Mobile at a later online
training session.
Our
2019 raffle event raised over $2,100 for Valley
Camp through the generosity of
"Lets Get Ready" and the hams who attended
as well as those who were not able
to attend the event. We will
be doing it again and this year we
will have an Anytone 578 mobile as
the grand prize as well as other
prizes not yet in the hopper.
